This is a fun opportunity for you children to think about President's and
Prime Ministers, those that make decisions about how our, your, world is run.
About war and about peace. What do you think?
After finding out about various world leaders and asking questions, we want
you to vote on the one that is doing the most to create a peaceful and safe
world in which you can grown up in and thrive. Let us know what you think. Send
us the name of the world leader you think is the best one. We will post you
answers on our web site and in June, 2005, we will have a report to let you
know the name of the world leader with the most votes.
It's important that you find out about leaders in countries other than your
own, as well as your own. So...the contest is on...who will win?
We all win if our leaders care about peace and work toward it and also care
about the future of children.
Many years ago an international group of kids on a peace trip were honored
guests in the Kremlin in Moscow. When the Banner of Hope was brought into the
hall they shouted out in unison: "We want to live! We want to grow. We want to
share what we can give! We want to Live!" That about says it I think. Do you agree?

the country you wish to research you will see a list of names of the Head, or
Chief, of State in that country.
